Tapita Vina Samson is a fierce co-owner of TMS FITNESS, a group training facility that has been empowering women and girls in the health and fitness industry for over seven years. Samson believes in the transformative power of sports and fitness and sees herself as a catalyst for change in the industry. She has embarked on the Pacific Women in Sports Leadership Program, aiming to broaden her skills and knowledge of the industry and create a more inclusive environment for women and girls in sports and fitness.
Samson envisions returning home to implement a mentorship and leadership development program tailored to the needs of women and girls in her country. Through collaboration with local sports organisations, schools, and community leaders, she aims to create partnerships that empower women by building their skills, confidence, and sense of belonging in the sporting community.
