Women in Sport Aotearoa/Ngā Wāhine Hākinakina o Aotearoa is the champion for gender equity in sport and physical activity in Aotearoa. We are a charity organisation and we need your support to continue our important mahi to achieve the world’s most equitable sport system, Te Tiriti inspired.

April – May 2024 – support us and win!

In the lead up to our Fundraiser evening in Palmerston North on 11 May, we have an opportunity for those who can’t make it to the event in person to support us, and go in the draw to win an awesome prize!

Everyone who donates at least $10 between 17 April and 12 May 2024 will go in the draw to win an awesome prize pack including a signed jersey from the 2022 Commonwealth games NZ cycling team!*

Help us to develop the leadership of kōhine across Aotearoa through our Young Women’s Leadership Programme, Whanake o te Kōpara. 

 

*Prize giveaway terms and conditions:

  1. NZ residents only. ​
  2. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to **Women in Sport Aotearoa** whose Instagram handle is @wispaotearoa. The “Prize” refers to **A signed jersey from the 2022 commonwealth games NZ team**
  3. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by **10pm** on **12 May 2024**. One (1) winner in New Zealand will be selected at random by The Promoter on **16 May 2024** and the winner will be notified on or after this date.
  4. The Promotors competitions with entry via Instagram and/or Facebook are open only to residents of New Zealand. One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entrants and across all platforms.
  5. Employees of The Promoter are not eligible to enter.
  6. Instagram or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
  7. Only one entry per person per competition will be accepted.
  8. Each entrant shall enter the competition by donating at least $10 via the Women in Sport Aotearoa donations page on their website during the competition time of 18 April – 12 May. An extra entry can be made via Instagram or Facebook by sharing the specified Instagram or Facebook post to their stories.
  9. The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered on Instagram or Facebook, using a random number generator. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
  10. The Promoter will not be help liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  11. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
  12. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  13. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
  14. The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.​
  15. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
  16. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winner has been selected.
