Past Student Intern 2022
Kaija Ruck
German Sport University, Cologne
Kaija joined the team as part of her Sports Management and Communications Degree and supported the delivery of the 8th IWG World Conference on Women & Sport. During her internship, she contributed to the planning of the conference and supported various projects such as speaker briefings, rehearsals, and reviewing content across the programme. Working with our operational and agency teams, Kaija also supported the development of the digital event plan. She is now back in Germany, completing the remainder of her studies.

Past Student Intern 2021
Kimberly Mankin
Massey University, New Zealand
Kimberly studied a Bachelor of Sport Management with Massey University Te Kunenga Ki Pūrehuroa and during her internship with WISPA she supported our Programme Director with the delivery of the Sport NZ Women + Girls Summit 2021. Following her internship with us, Kimberly joined the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2021 team as their Operations Coordinator. She covered operations of the tournament at Eden Park, Auckland and is now working full-time for Drug Free Sport New Zealand as their Sport Operations Coordinator.

Shanee Kiriau
Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand
Shanee Kiriau joined us from Auckland University of Technology as a double degree Sport & Business cooperative student. She completed a 400-hour placement with WISPA and is now the Community & Digital Delivery Manager. Read more about Shanee here.
