Pacific Women’s Leadership Programme

Pacific Programme WISPA

In 2023, WISPA ran a pilot of its Pacific Women’s Sports Leadership Programme, delivered in partnership with Pasifika SiS Sisters in Sport. Based on the Global Sport Mentoring programme, this leadership programme aims to empower emerging female leaders from four Pacific Island nations through mentorship and cultural exchange. The programme is made possible through investment and partnerships with the US State Department and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Learn more

The Sport NZ Women + Girls Summit was a series of annually staged events delivered by WISPA and The Shift Foundation and was one of the 24 commitments made by Sport NZ in response to the Women and Girls in Sport and Active Recreation strategyto help women and girls across Aotearoa realise their potential in and through sport and active recreation.

 


 

The annual Captains Lunch was a sport and business leadership event hosted in partnership with the Trans-Tasman Business Circle. 

 


 

As an Official Charity Partner of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, we launched a special women’s leadership series for young women in Aotearoa New Zealand, during the tournament.
